Talian Faculty of Medicine prepares clinical and public-health professionals as well as researchers — in an atmosphere of excellence, scholarship, and professionalism, supported by its affiliated partner, Al-Dawra Private Hospital.

Our Direction
Mission
Talian Faculty of Medicine is a health-sciences and clinical-practice college whose purpose is to educate clinical and public-health professionals as well as researchers, and to conduct biomedical and population-based research. Through its faculty and affiliated partners (Al-Dawra Hospital), the College promotes an atmosphere of excellence, scholarship, and professionalism.

The vision of Talian Faculty of Medicine reflects a commitment to excellence in education, research, and service — grounded in integrity, intellectual curiosity, and respect for human dignity. The College will promote health-science education and research, preparing and empowering the next generation of researchers and health-care leaders to advance human health and well-being.

A six-year medical program
Talian Faculty of Medicine offers a six-year program in human medicine, structured to be parallel to standard accredited medical colleges.
Year One · Foundation
The scientific bedrock.
How the human body is built — and how doctors learn to think. The disciplines every clinical decision will stand on.
Year Two · Systems
The body, system by system.
Organ systems in depth — structure, function, and the shared language of medicine.
Year Three · Mechanisms
What goes wrong — and why.
Pathology, pharmacology, microbiology: the mechanisms of disease and the tools that answer them.
Year Four · Into the Clinic
Rotations begin — next door.
Clinical rotations start at Al-Dawra Private Hospital, the teaching hospital beside the campus.
Year Five · Advanced Practice
Greater responsibility.
Deeper clinical work across the major specialties, with growing independence under supervision.
Year Six · Internship
A year of real practice.
A supervised internship year in the hospital. Students arrive as graduates — and leave as physicians.
Departments and specializations will be announced as they are confirmed.
Clinical Training
The hospital is not a bus ride away.

As the College's affiliated teaching hospital, Al-Dawra Private Hospital provides a real clinical environment where students develop hands-on skills under professional supervision, connecting classroom learning to patient care.
